Gaylon Lee Moss

GAYLON LEE MOSS A celebration of life will be held for Bloomfield, N.M. resident and former Cortez resident, Gaylon Lee Moss will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 7 at Arriola Community Center, 21176 Road S. Pastor Rob Bruendl will officiate. A potluck dinner will follow the celebration. Gaylon was born on April 7, 1976 in Cortez the son of Lester Ray and Connie Lanett (Risenhoover) Moss. He passed away on Friday, January 2, 2009 at San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington, N.M. at the age of 32. On December 14, 1996, Gaylon married Christina Thomas in Sweetwater, Ariz. Surviving Gaylon are his wife, Christina Moss of Bloomfield, N.M.; his daughters, Ariel, Alyssa, and Aliyah; his mother, Connie L. Stewart and husband, Butch of Beulah, Colo.; his brother, Justin Moss and wife, Lura of Clifton, Colo.; his step-sister, Stephanie Taylor and husband, Cody of Pueblo, Colo., his step-brother, Aaron Stewart of Alamosa, Colo.; his nephew and niece, Jonathan and Melinda. Gaylon was preceded in death by his father; and his grandfather, Gordon Moss.
