FRANK JOSEPH SPORE Funeral Mass for longtime area resident Frank Joseph Spore will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 4 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Cortez Cemetery. Reverend Pat Valdez, C.R. will officiate. Visitation has been scheduled for Friday afternoon from 4-6 p.m. at Ertel Memorial Chapel. A Rosary service has been scheduled at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Frank was born October 1, 1936 in Montrose, Colo. the son of Ralph Charles and Edith Belle (Seaman) Spore. He passed away on Monday, October, 30, 2017 at his Dolores residence at the age of 81. Surviving Frank are his children, Rex Spore (Machell Parga) of Cortez, Roger Spore (Sherri) of Dolores, Mark Spore of Dolores, and Tina Hampton (Roudy) of Lewis; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; Bobbie Spore of Quartzsite, Ariz.; and by his siblings, Dee Fosnot (Clifton) of Cahone, Mary Eble of Ft. Collins, Colo., and Barbara Gustafson (Gene) of Mancos. Frank was preceded in death by his parents; and by his siblings, Ralph Spore Jr., Norman Spore, and Cathy Vincent.
