Fabiola Sally Rivas

Memorial services for Cortez resident Fabiola Sally Rivas will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Pagosa Springs, CO. Rosary will take place at 9 a.m. and the memorial service will follow at 10 a.m.

Fabiola was born October 31, 1935 in Monero, NM the daughter of Juan Teodoro and Margarita Adelia (Carrillo) Rivera. She passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Southwest Memorial Hospital in Cortez, CO at the age of 86.

Surviving Fabiola are her children, Robert Lee Rivas (Martha) of Aztec, NM, Bernadette Louise Archuleta of Cortez, CO, Libby Joan Rivas of Cortez, CO, Lily Joan Rivas of Cortez, CO, Aaron Rivas (Lori) of Monte Vista, CO; her siblings, Dolores Gurule of Pagosa Springs, CO, and Jenny (Juanita) Baldwin of Houston, TX; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. Fabiola was preceded in death by her parents; her children, Libby Joan Rivas, Glen Lloyd Rivas and Dolores (Dodie) Armenta; her siblings, Ike Rivera, Pilar Martinez, Raymond Rivera, Ted Rivera and Sandra Martinez.
