EVERETT M. NEFF Funeral services for longtime Cortez resident Everett M. Neff will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 4 at the Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at the Cortez Cemetery. A visitation has been scheduled for Tuesday morning from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at the Ertel Chapel. Everett was born on October 19, 1910 in Unionville, Iowa the son of Frank and Zetta (McCorcle) Neff. He passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at the Mesa View Retirement Home at the age of 95. Surviving Everett are his children, Norma Campbell of Mesa, AZ, Richard Neff and wife, Norene of Mexican Hat, Ut., and Donald K. Neff and wife, Natalie of Salt Lake City, Ut. He also leaves behind 9 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. Preceding Everett in death were his parents; two wives, Isabel C. Neff and Lillian Neff; and 12 brothers and sisters.
