Everett Leon Boren

Memorial services for Cortez resident Everett Leon Boren will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 11, 2019 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Pastor Marvin Graves will officiate.
Leon was born September 21, 1931 in Villagreen, CO the son of Luther Manuel and Edith Adiline (Flincher) Boren. He passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at his residence at the age of 87.
Surviving Leon are his children, Roger Boren of Cortez, CO, Daniel Boren of Cortez, CO, Mark Boren of Cortez, CO, Jane Boren Wall of Price, UT, Luke Boren of Cortez, CO, Ruth Carver of Cortez, CO, Alta Myers of Oakhurst, CA, Vern Boren of Cortez, CO, and Jake Boren of CA; and his sister, Cleo Baird or Cortez, CO. Leon was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Doris Irene (Hackett) Boren; his daughter, Beth Boren Ritchie; and 13 siblings.
