Emma Jean Begay

Funeral services for lifelong Shiprock, NM resident Emma Jean Begay will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Mancos Creek.
Emma was born July 20, 1956 in Shiprock, NM the daughter of Jack Lee Sr. and Evelyn Benally. She passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Northern Navajo Medical Center at the age of 62.
Emma married Richard Begay of Shiprock, NM on April 20, 1985. Surviving Emma are her husband, Richard Begay; son, Richard G. Begay (Patricia) of Aztec, NM; adopted-son, Randy S. Begay of Albuquerque, NM; brothers, David Lee, Jack Lee Jr., Paul Lee, Davis Lee; sister, Vickie Lee. She was preceded in death by her mother and father and he brothers Gerald Lee and Jackson Lee.
