October 31, 1920 — February 17, 2013

ELSIE FRAZIER Elsie Frazier was born on Oct. 31, 1920, in Denver, Colo., the daughter of George Washington and Bertha Wagner. She passed away at home on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, at the age of 92. She married Lynn J. Frazier on May 10, 1942. The couple lived in Denver until 1944, after which they moved to California and opened a fix-it shop. The small shop grew into the Downey Mower 'n' Saw Co., which they owned and managed together from 1945 until 1980. Elsie and Lynn were blessed with one son, Wallace Frazier. Upon retirement in 1980, the couple moved to Lewis, setting up a home on their ranch. The most significant relationship of Elsie's life began on Dec. 13, 1962, when she surrendered her life to Jesus Christ. The remainder of her life was marked by her love for and dedication to her Heavenly Father, His word and His church. Her faith was her cornerstone and firm foundation, sustaining her daily. Elsie's love for others was evident through her commitment to prayer, involvement in Bible studies, Friendship Bible Coffee, traveling with the Good Sam's Club, and volunteer work at Madison House (1988-2012) and Vista Mesa. Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn; nephew, Danny Wagner; grandson-in-law, Ron Cameron; and her great-granddaughter, Joy Frazier. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Cathy Wagner, brother, William Wagner; son and daughter-in-law, Wallace and Sherri Frazier; granddaughter, Michelle Cameron and grandson, Brian Frazier; great-grandchildren, Deryk and Bri Cameron, Daniel and Sarah Cameron, Stacia Cameron and Haley Frazier; and a great-great-grandson, Jason Frazier. A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23, at Arriola Bible Church. Cremation has already taken place. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Montezuma, P.O. Drawer 740, Cortez, CO 81321.
