ELIZABETH ETOYLE "TOY" NICHOLS Funeral services for Dolores resident Elizabeth Etoyle "Toy" Nichols will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 23 at Robertson Funeral Home in McLean, Tex. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in McLean. Toy was born on May 22, 1926 in Matador, Tex. the daughter of Leon and Maude (Folley) Nall. She passed away on Friday, November 19, 2010 at her residence at the age of 84. A nurse's aide for most her life, Toy remained involved in health care even after her retirement. She loved playing Bingo and spending time with her family. Toy was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Cortez and in Texas. Surviving Toy are her children, Wanda Wood and husband, Weldon of Dolores, Allen Carlile and wife, Carol of Odessa, Tex., and Don Best and wife Donna of Owasso, Okla.; 19 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and by her sister, Dolores Franklin and husband, Bill of Lindale, Tex. Toy was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband, Lloyd Best; by her children, Milton Best and Loretta Best; and by her siblings, Gwen Putman and Elmo Nall.
