DOUGLAS NEAL MARTIN Funeral services for Cortez resident Douglas Neal Martin will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 21 the Lighthouse Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Cortez Cemetery. Douglas was born on February 21, 1980 in Milton, Florida the son of Clyde Haile and Lindell Faith (Stoutamire) Martin. He passed away on Monday, December 17, 2007 at his residence at the age of 27. Douglas loved music and playing the guitar. Surviving Douglas are his parents, Clyde and Lindell Martin of Cortez; his siblings, Rachel Watkins of Joshua, Tex., and Philip Martin of Durango; his grandparents, Roy and Audrey Stoutamire of Jacksonville, Florida; his aunt, Valerie Washburn of Jacksonville, Florida, his uncles, Carl Stoutamire of Orange Park, Florida, Jefrey Stoutamire of Charlotte, N.C., and Byron Stoutamire of Jacksonville, Florida; his nephew and niece, Ian and Madeline Watkins of Joshua, Tex.
