DORIS JEANETTE HEART

Funeral services for Doris Jeanette Heart will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 7 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Towaoc Cemetery. Visitation has been scheduled for Monday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at Ertel Chapel.
Doris was born February 7, 1941 in Mariano Springs, Colo. the daughter of Leslie Heart and Jeanette Hight. She passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021 at her Towaoc residence at the age of 80.
Doris was very loved by her family. She was an avid Denver Broncos fan and she was proud that she was the first Ute Mountain Ute Princess to be honored.
Surviving Doris are her children, Manuel Heart (Marie) of Towaoc, Dexter Lehi of Towaoc, Brenda Lehi of Towaoc, Dore Lehi of Towaoc, and Sandy Cuch (Warrenell) of Towaoc, and by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. Doris was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lawrence Fly Lehi; and by her brother, Fredrick Dean Heart.
