DENNIS TSOSIE Funeral services for Dennis Tsosie, a lifelong resident of Sweetwater, Ariz. will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, October 24 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Cortez Cemetery. Visitation has been set for Thursday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at Ertel Chapel. Dennis was born the son of Boyd and Dora W. (Lee) Denetsosie on July 18, 1943 at Carrizo Mountain, Ariz. He passed away at Four Corners Regional Health Center in Red Mesa, Ariz. on Monday, October 20, 2008 at the age of 65. Surviving Dennis are his children, Delores Clark and husband, Harry Jr. of Teec Nos Pos, Ariz., Tina Johnson of Cortez, Ernest Benally and wife, Lisa of Beclahbeto, N.M., and Daryl Tsosie and wife, Anglene of Shiprock, N.M.; nine grandchildren, Deanndra Clark Dee, Wacey Tsosie, Kristen Johnson, Aaron Johnson, Noah Tsosie, Kaitlyn Tsosie, Sophia Tsosie, Justin Tsosie, and Cooper Benally; and two great grandchildren. Also surviving Dennis are his ex-wife and dear friend, Sarah J. Thomas; his mother, Dora W. Lee Denetsosie; and his sister, Mary Lou Tsosie and husband, Lee of Cortez. He was preceded in death by his father; a son, Vernon Tsosie; daughter, Ernestine Tsosie; and grandmother, Daisy Bedonie.
