Della M. Espinoza

DELLA M. ESPINOZA Funeral Mass for lifelong Cortez resident Della M. Espinoza will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 3 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Reverend Pat Valdez, C.R. officiating. Interment will follow at Cortez Cemetery. A Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 2 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Della was born October 8, 1935 in Dolores the daughter of Charles and Molly (Maestas) Quintana. She passed away in Durango on April 27, 2013 at the age of 77. Della married Lino A. Espinoza on September 1, 1951 in Dolores. They celebrated 62 years of marriage and to this union seven children were born. Della was very involved in her church, St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. In her free time, she loved playing Bingo and shopping. Family was very important to Della and she loved spending time with them. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Della is survived by her husband, Lino A. Espinoza of Cortez; her children, Lino Espinoza and wife, Cynthia of Cortez, Loraine Archuleta and husband, Pat of Mancos, David Espinoza and wife, Kristin of Cortez, Ricky Espinoza and wife, Vicki of Cortez, Robert Lino Espinoza Jr. of Cortez, and Lina Bran and husband, Jeff of Cortez; 23 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; her siblings, Chris Quintana and wife, Mattie of Dolores, Isabell Lopez and husband, Tommy of Dolores, Charles Quintana and wife, Juliet of Cortez, Viola Randall of Dolores, Judy Pena and husband, Bert of Dolores, Tony Montoya and wife, Linda of Grand Junction, Colo., Pauline Antrodus of Golden, Colo., Dolores Esseldurn of Golden, Colo., Lydia Quintana of Golden, Colo. and Lester Quintana of Utah; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Della was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Molly Quintana; son, Jackie Espinoza; brother, Leroy Vallejos; sister, Beatrice Quintana; and one great-great-grandchild.
