Della June Osborn

DELLA JUNE OSBORN Memorial services for Cortez resident, Della June Osborn will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13 at the Ertel Memorial Chapel. Della was born on December 18, 1936 at Ackman, Colo. the daughter of Harvey Earl and Gaither Katherine (Tewell) Oliver. She passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2004 at her home in Cortez at the age of 67. On May 6, 1955 in Mesa, Ariz. Della married Wesley Franklin Osborn. They enjoyed 49 years of marriage. Della enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren, decorating, gardening, and sewing. She is survived by her husband, Wesley of Cortez; her children, Michael Osborn and wife, Ruth of Boulder, Colo., Douglas Osborn and wife, Michele of Phoenix, Ariz., Shari Beke and husband, Dave of Cortez, Steven Osborn and wife, Lori of Capitan, N.M., and Kelly Osborn of Cortez. She leaves 13 grandchildren; and her brother and sister, Troy Oliver and wife, Shorlene, and Vada Wood. Preceding her in death were her parents; three brothers, and two sisters. Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Della Osborn with Citizens State Bank of Cortez.
