Deanne' Joan Acott

Deanne' J. Acott passed away at home on Sunday, December 6, 2020. Deanne' was born in Fleming, CO to Orville and Opal Heath on Nov. 19, 1938.
Deanne' and Howard were married on Feb.8, 1958. She spent much of her life supporting Howard in his educational and agricultural pursuits. Howard passed away in 2000. Deanne' was a well known Agricultural lender beginning her career with Production Credit Association in the 1970's. From there she started a new Ag lending program through Mancos Valley Bank. She retired in 2001. Mom enjoyed many wonderful trips to Lake Powell although she was very accident prone while there. Broken ankle and degloved finger just to name a few. Later in life, she loved to play bridge with friends, decorating for Christmas, talking on the phone, and she fulfilled her goal of living at home until her death.
Surviving Deanne’ are her three children, Kim Walter (Joe) of Montrose, CO, Neil Acott (Doris) of Cortez, CO, and Kirk Acott (Mary Beth) of Cortez,CO; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
