DAVID HARVEY EIMAN Funeral services for David Harvey Eiman, currently of Cortez and formerly of Escalante, Utah will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 14, at the Escalante LDS Church. Interment will follow at the Escalante Cemetery. David was born May 15, 1950 in Idaho Falls, Ida. the son of Robert Harvey and Rayola (Larsen) Eiman. He passed away at his Cortez home on Sunday, January 10, 2010 at the age of 59. David married Debbie Norman on January 31, 1976 in Escalante, Utah. David was employed by Occidental Petroleum for 25 years working as a Root Cause Failure Analyst. His engineer nature had him always creating and making new things. In David's free time he enjoyed restoring cars, snow skiing and golf. Surviving David are his wife of 34 years, Debbie Eiman of Cortez; children, Tyson Eiman and wife, Jennifer of Carrollton, Tex., Jerrod Eiman of Richardson, Tex., and Kelsey Eiman of Provo, Utah; and by his grandson, Ethan Eiman. Also surviving David are five sisters, Barbara Higgins and husband, Darrell, Nancy Duncan and husband, Duane, Janet Maez and husband, Leonard, Beverly Eiman, and Eileen Eiman and partner, Darren Noyes all of Cortez.
