David Butchko

DAVID BUTCHKO David Butchko passed away at his Mancos home on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at the age of 58. He was born the son of Tom and Lorreta (Yurak) Butchko on July 14, 1952 in New Kensington, Penn. David married Trudi Webster on November 28, 1974 in Tempe, Ariz. He was a self-employed landscaper operating Planttrends for 28 years. In his free time Dave enjoyed being a research biologist. He was a very caring man; he deeply loved his family, friends and dogs. An avid Pittsburg Steelers fan, Dave also enjoyed hiking, golf and being in the outdoors. Surviving Dave are his wife of 36 years, Trudi Webster of Mancos; his mother, Lorreta Butchko of Tulsa, Okla.; his brother, Tom Butchko and wife, Kay of Tulsa, Okla.; his nephew, Tom Butchko and wife, Nina of Tulsa, Okla.; two nieces, Jessica Butchko also of Tulsa, and Stacey Webster and husband, Sam Cortez and their children, Sabrina and Sebastian of Tempe, Ariz.; by dear friends, Steve Cassins and wife, Sue of Wasilla, Alaska, Tim Perry and wife, Dee of Tempe, Ariz., and Wayne Spears and wife, Raquel of El Centro, Calif.; and by his loving dogs, K.C., Jack and Gunny. Memorial contributions can be made in memory of David Butchko with the Humane Society. Cremation is planned with no services to follow.
