CYNTHIA ANN JOHNSBOEN Funeral services for lifelong Cortez resident Cynthia Ann Johnsboen will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 6 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Lewis Cemetery. Ann was born April 16, 1942 in Yellow Jacket, Colo. the daughter of Berlyn and Sylvia (Gai) Cauley. She passed away at her Cortez home on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at the age of 66. A lover of the outdoors, Ann enjoyed gardening, landscaping and tending to the wild birds in her yard. She also was an avid bowler. Surviving Ann are her children, Gene Johnsboen Jr. and his wife, Elizabeth of Tucson, Ariz. and Trana Jeffries of Kalispell, Mont.; and three grandchildren, Emily Ann Johnsboen of Tucson, Ariz., Sandra M. Jeffries and William Jeffries both of Kalispell, Mont. Also surviving Ann are her brother, Jerald A. Cauley and wife, JoAnn of Cortez; cousins, Faye (Odell) Lambert of Lewis, Colo., Janice (Gai) Harvey and husband, Lynn of Yellow Jacket, Colo., Delano, Gary and Douglas Perkins all of Dove Creek, Colo., Joel, Sammy and Barbara Williams all of New Mexico, Mike and Pat Rowell, and Robbie and Jim Lasiter of Show Low, Ariz.; and by nieces and nephews, Misty Gordon, Kristy Grass, and Lee Cauley all of Las Vegas, Nev. Preceding Ann in death were her parents; and all her aunts and uncles.
