Clarence Lyle Cox

Funeral services for Mancos resident Clarence Lyle Cox will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at the Mancos Fire Department, 41595 Highway 160, Mancos, CO. Mr. Bentley Colbert will officiate. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Mancos, CO. A meal will be served following the committal at the Mancos Fire Station.
Lyle was born August 5, 1944 in Mancos, CO the son of Merle James and Geneva (Neeley) Cox. He passed away on Monday, August 17, 2020 at the University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora, CO at the age of 76.
Surviving Lyle are his children, Terry Cox (Kelli) of Mancos, CO, Rodney Cox (Ronda) of Dolores, CO, and Scottie Cox (Destri) of Mancos, CO; his sister, Jimmie Mae Yap (Fred) of Pueblo, CO; his grandchildren, Tyrel Cox (Whitney), Lane Cox, Jacey Christenson (Riley), Anna Cox, Kyle 2.0, Kendra Schafer (Andrew), Kyle Cox, Wyatt Cox, Sidney Cox, Cortni Cox, Tanner Lockhart, and Cayce Lockhart; and three great grandchildren. Lyle was preceded in death by his parents, and his loving wife, Betty Cox.
