CHARLES TERRANCE "CHUCK" ROBINSON Memorial services for longtime Cortez resident Charles Terrance "Chuck" Robinson will be held on Friday, June 3 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lewis Arriola Community Center 21176 Road S, Cortez. Chuck was born in Bismarck, N.D. on March 23, 1949. He departed on May 22, 2016 and resided in Cortez, CO. He graduated from Natrona County High School in Casper, Wyo. in 1967. After graduating from high school he started working in Jeffery City, Wyo. in the oil field. Chuck then met the love of his life, Lula Ellen Lanier and they were married December 28, 1967 in Wellington, Utah. For 48 years he worked his way up in the oil fields. In 1993 he started working overseas for Weatherford Internationals where he was able to experience numerous cultures and countries in his 22 years of working for Weatherford. He was forced to retire in 2015 due to conflict overseas. Chuck enjoyed living his life to the fullest. He was an amazing role model that has touched so many lives. He was a hardworking man who did everything possible to provide his family with everything that he could possibly give them. His one true passion in his life was his family, especially his six grandchildren. Chuck was a devoted grandfather, father, husband, brother, and friend who was loved by many and will be greatly missed. He leaves behind his loving wife, Lula Ellen of 48 years of marriage. Chuck also leaves behind his son, Shawn Robinson; his daughters, Teri Goodall (Keve) and Cecilia Smith (Steve); along with six grandchildren, Makenna-19, Kaeden-16, Hunter-10, Dannika-7, Chaz-4, and Raya-2; his sisters, Midge, Denise, Lauren, Liz, Rene, Esther; his brother; Rueben Belverstone (Mitzi); and many nieces and nephews.
