Bob Vernon Olson

BOB VERNON OLSON Bob Vernon Olson was born December 30, 1929 in Junction City, Kan. the son of Ralph Lawrence and Emma Louise (Vohs) Olson. He passed away at his Dolores home on Monday, March 3, 2014 at the age of 84. You could always count on finding Bob with a new home improvement project or tinkering with something in the garage. Working crossword puzzles brought Bob much enjoyment in his free time, but his family brought him the most enjoyment. Bob loved spending time with them and they will greatly miss him. Bob is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Olson of Dolores; his grandsons, Cody Olson, Derek Fetrow, and Shaun Thomason; his granddaughter, Megan Thomason; and his ex-wife, Virginia Olson of Dolores. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Emma Olson; his daughter, Melanie Olson; his brothers, Harold Olson, Ralph Olson Jr., Hugo Olson, and Jackie Olson; and his sister, Pauline Brown. Cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Montezuma, P.O. Box 740, Cortez.
