Betty Joyce Papoff

BETTY JOYCE PAPOFF Graveside services for Aztec, N.M. resident Betty Joyce Papoff will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 15 at Arriola Cemetery. Betty was born on January 6, 1930 in Waco, Tex. the daughter of Lonnie and Della Opal (Clymer) Dupre. She passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2011 at San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington, N.M. at the age of 81. Betty loved time spent outdoors. Gardening, fishing and boating were activities she greatly enjoyed. Betty was always up for an adventure and her love for traveling ensured lots of excitement in her life. Surviving Betty are her husband, John Papoff of Aztec, N.M.; her children, Rick Papoff and wife, Beverly of Arriola and Cheryl Johnson of Cortez; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; her sister, Barbara Carter of Carlsbad, Calif.; and by her son-in-law, Gayle Aulston of Page, Ariz. Betty was preceded in death by her father, Lonnie Dupre; by her mother, Della Young; by her step-father, Vernon Young; by her daughter, Sandra Aulston; and by six grandchildren.
