Arie David Waterman

Graveside services for Cortez resident Arie David Waterman will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Cortez Cemetery. Military Honors will be performed by the Veterans of Montezuma County. Visitation will take place from 5 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Ertel Memorial Chapel.
Arie was born February 2, 1946 in Durango, CO the son of Tunney Francis and Betty Lou (Harris) Waterman. He passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Pine Ridge Extended Care in Pagosa Springs, CO at the age of 75.
Surviving Arie are his spouse, Lucille Waterman of Cortez, CO; his daughters, Lori Metcalf (Jason) of Parachute, CO, and Lisa Waterman of Parachute, CO; his step-daughter, Michelle Matney (Paul) of Bloomfield, CO; his sisters, Aleta Huck (Bob) of Clayton, CA, Vera Walker (Richard) of Calgary, Canada, Greta Meyer (Gary) of Jerome, ID, and Jan Stanko (Steve) of Grand Junction, CO; his brother, Mark Waterman (Andrea) of Upland, CA; six grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
