ANNA MARGARET REED Funeral services for lifelong Cortez resident Anna Margaret Reed will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 16 at the Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Cortez Cemetery. Anna was born on September 26, 1919 in Uniontown, Kan. the daughter of William Copes and Eliza Adeline (Anderson) Hull. She passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2008 at the Valley Inn Nursing Home at the age of 88. Anna was a member of the Yellow Jacket Grange and TOPS. She was famous for her cooking. Anna enjoyed keeping her hands busy with ceramics, quilting and embroidery. Surviving Anna are her two sons, Charles A. Reed of Cortez and Robert L. Reed and wife, Susan of Phoenix, Ariz.; and by six grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Melvin Reed; her daughter, Sharon Ann Honaker; and by two sisters.
