Alvin Darrel 'Al' Springmeyer

Memorial services for Cortez resident Alvin Darrel ‘Al’ Springmeyer will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Cortez Cemetery.
Al was born December 12, 1934 in Dove Creek, CO the son of Tivis Theodore and Edna Susan (Johnson) Springmeyer. He passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Southwest Memorial Hospital in Cortez, CO at the age of 86.
Surviving Al are his loving wife, LouAnn Springmeyer of Cortez, CO; his children, Ronda Lynn Echerd (Robert) of Henderson, NV, Patricia Lou Allen of Grand Junction, CO, Cara Maidee Balderrama of Cortez, CO; eight grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. Al was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Richard Thomas Springmeyer; and his daughter, Brenda Lee Springmeyer.
