AARON MICHAEL PHELPS Funeral services for Aaron Michael Phelps, 19, of Cortez will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 28 at the Arriola Bible Church. Interment will follow at the Lebanon Cemetery. Pastor Kent Slyter will officiate. Aaron was born the son of Carl Bruce Phelps and Debra Lynn (Bowers) Phelps in Cortez on Sept. 7, 1984. He passed away Sunday, May 23, 2004 at his home. Aaron had a love of music and enjoyed playing the guitar. He also had an artistic side and enjoyed writing, photography and artwork, as well as reading. He had a deep affection for animals. Surviving Aaron are his father, Carl Phelps of Cortez; his mother, Debra Phelps of Dolores; and three brothers, C. Bryan Phelps, Joseph Phelps, and Matthew Phelps all of Dolores.
