Raymond Calvin Evans

Memorial services for Cortez resident Raymond Calvin Evans will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at the Calvin Denton Room. Pastor Marvin Graves will officiate.
Calvin was born October 11, 1933 in Lawton, OK the son of Andrew and Dolly (Burkett) Evans. He passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Durango, CO at the age of 85.
Surviving Calvin are his wife, Donna Charlene (Givens) Evans of Cortez, CO; his children, Darrell Evans of Grants, NM, Teresa Encinio of Milan, NM, Wayne Godfrey of Elko, NV, Edward Godfrey of Truth or Consequences, NM, Robert Godfrey of Cortez, CO, and Crystal Molina of Grants, NM; his sister, Barbara Evans of Lawton, OK; 11 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren. Calvin was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Jeep Evans and Paul Evans.
