The staff at Ertel Funeral Home feel it is an honor to be able to serve you and your family members during this difficult time. We also understand that making funeral arrangements, getting through the service, and through the next several weeks and months is only the beginning of your grief journey.Ertel Funeral Home Aftercare Program is a support program dedicated to providing follow up services to surviving family members after the death of a loved one. We make a one month, six month, and twelve month contact by way of card and/or phone call. We also provide you with grief information and referrals to community resources. We want you to know that neither our services, nor our thoughts of you, end with the funeral.
We automatically send a laminated copy of the newspaper funeral notice and memorial folder along with a personalized note to the family member who was responsible for making funeral arrangements. However, if you know of family members, or you yourself, who may need some type of grief follow up, whether simply a card or phone call, please do not hesitiate to let us know by contacting our Bereavement Services Specialist.
